Pre-installed on an IP-SystemManager (ordered separately), it ensures seamless
management of a complete nurse call system and can be expanded with additional functional modules.
General Description
The module provides the functionality of a full nurse call system, meeting
DIN VDE 0834 standards. It manages communication, call routing, and
integration with connected interfaces, ensuring reliability and safety in critical
healthcare environments.
Scope of Functions
- Controls one physical ward of a nurse call system
- Coordinates features across multiple coupled IP-SystemManagers
- Supports systems with or without voice communication
- Permanent self-monitoring of all connected components
- Supports centralized, decentralized, or mixed organizational concepts
- Manages additional function modules (e.g., telephony)
- Controls all connected interfaces and displays
